mooslim is a hand-reviewed directory of Muslim-owned businesses across New York City — home bakers, supermarkets, auto dealers, contractors, accountants, real estate professionals, and everything in between.

We started with the Beit Hanina (BHC) community — a roughly 20,000-person Palestinian diaspora community spread across NYC, Cleveland, Detroit, and the Bay Area. The BHC community is large enough that you can't possibly know everyone, but tight enough that we trust each other's recommendations. That dynamic is the foundation mooslim is built on.

Today, we're opening up to the broader Muslim and Arab business community in NYC. If you run a halal-friendly, community-minded business and want it found by people who'll trust where it came from, this is the place.
